How did that happen!?
Well, news is – the radio show is on hold for the time being. If you’ve been tuning in recently, that wasn’t me… Black Wax Radio will live for a while as 29 streamable shows via Mixcloud. Thanks to everyone for supporting that venture. It’s not over, it’s just on the shelf for a bit.
Reason being – I’ve got a few other bits I’m working on and time is always running out. So, here’s what’s happening…
Saturday 20th January @ Phoenix Live (Harlow). I’ll be hosting a night of record spinnin’ with punk poetry duo Cherry & Peesh playing live. Full details are on the Facebook page but in short, it’s a chance to get out and get together, support some local art and listen to some cool music!
Friday 2nd February @ Club Foot (Harlow) – I’m on bass duties with the legendary Eddie & The Hot Rods! It’s a special show for Independent Venue Week. I was just excited to be putting the show on, let alone playing it!
A pretty important show as it’ll mark 1 year since the closure of The Square (venue in Harlow) and Eddie & The Hot Rods were the last band to ever play at that venue.
Full details and ticket link is on the Facebook page, or go straight to the venue’s website here.
Friday 9th March @ Phoenix Live (Harlow). Another night of record spinnin’ but this time we have Brandy Row playing live – rescheduled from the snowed off show in December. This one’s Free Entry as it’s being supported by the Harlow Is 70 campaign. Full details on the Facebook page.
That’s a lot to take in for now, so get it all in your diaries and tell your friends, make plans and enhance your life.
More coming soon!
