Vinyl Junkies June

On Thursday, after voting,  I went to The Herald pub for their monthly ‘Vinyl Junkies’ open decks night. I was great to see that the night has grown since I last went, and there were more people signed up to spin their records. Again it was a real mix of musical styles and everyone was very welcoming and appreciative of each others’ passion. Vinyl Junkies takes place on the second Thursday of each month at The Herald, Broadly Road, Harlow.

Here’s what I played –

The Stooges – TV Eye
Wilson Picket – Born To Be Wild
Dead Boys – Sonic Reducer
The Nerves – Hanging On The Telephone
The Who – I Can’t Explain
Small Faces – Grow Your Own
Sharon Jones And The Dap Kings – This Land Is Your Land
Aaron Neville – Hercules
T Rex – Children Of The Revolution
Newtown Neurotics – Kick Out The Tories
